Associate of Science

Students who complete the associate of science will gain hands-on experience and get a great introduction to teaching practice and theory. This degree is a great fit for those considering a career working in early childhood or elementary education. Course work in this program will also satisfy many general education requirements for a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. The Regional Campuses and Distance Education (RCDE) program offers a unique way to obtain a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. After completing general education requirements students can apply for admittance into the School of Teacher Education and Leadership (TEAL). Classes are streamed live in Price. The program is consistently ranked in the U.S. News top 30 so students can rest assured they’ll be receiving a quality education.
