USU Eastern Given Grant for Demonstration Center at Castle Gate

USU Eastern was given a $340,000 Utah Cluster Acceleration Partnership Grant.
This grant from a consortium of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, Workforce Services and Higher Education, was given to USU Eastern to support a joint effort of USU’s Office of Commercialization and Regional Development and the USU Eastern to create a development and demonstration center at the Castle Gate Site.
The project supported by the grant is an investigation into clean coal technology. The outcomes expected are new technologies, economic development and new revenue streams for the College.
