One Good Sod Deserves Another
No grass is growing under Utah State University Eastern’s feet — at least the sod where the college’s new Central Instruction Building is being constructed. But that does not mean it shouldn’t be growing somewhere else.
That “somewhere else” is now at Pinnacle Academy Charter School where the half-acre lot of USU Eastern sod was donated.
And the thank you to the college from the school could not have been any sweeter. It came in the form of handmade thank you cards from the school’s first-graders and personally delivered by Principal Mark Stuckenschneider.
In the years ahead, if anyone notices the children favoring blue and gold and talking about future college plans, maybe, just maybe, some of that sod is rubbing off on them.
