Beginning in Summer 2020, undergraduate students attending Utah State University Blanding, Moab, Eastern and surrounding centers will have a new way of being charged tuition. Students at those campuses who have 65 or fewer credits (including concurrent, transfer, and AP credits) at the time which registration opens will be charged a lower tuition rate than other campuses in the statewide system. Students with more than 65 credits will be charged the standard tuition rate as other Utah State campuses.
Failing grades, repeats, withdraws and/or remedial courses do not count toward earned credits. Credits that have not been received or applied to your USU transcript are not considered earned credits. They will count as earned credits once they are officially applied to your USU transcript.

Check Your Eligibility
Check to see if you are eligible for Southeast tuition today by reviewing your transcript. Credits that have not been received or applied to transcript do not count toward earned hours until they are officially on your USU Transcript.
If you have questions or concerns regarding these changes please contact your academic advisor or fill out our contact form.
Once you have registered for the upcoming semester, you are required to pay all tuition and fees by that semester’s deadline. USU uses TouchNet, an online service where you can view bills, make payments, and manage your account any time. You can also set up an authorized user, like a parent or guardian, to access your account and make payments on your behalf. You can also pay in person at the Registrar’s Office with cash or check.
Tuition is due upon registration. If you fail to pay your tuition by one of the tuition deadlines, you may be dropped from your classes and any waitlists you may be on. This is known as the nonpayment drop.
Students with an outstanding balance at a late payment deadline will incur a $100 late payment fee. Pay your balance in full or get on a payment plan prior to late payment deadlines to avoid late fees.

For most students these changes will not impact their financial aid eligibility. Lower tuition rates will affect a student’s cost of attendance, and could decrease loan eligibility for some students. Pell grant amounts remain the same for both tuition rates.
If you have concerns or questions about your financial aid please contact the financial aid office at 435-797-0173 or email@example.com.

Financial aid generally comes in the form of scholarships, grants, and loans. Scholarships are awarded by the university and usually require applications. Grants are awarded by the government to students who fill out a FASFA. Loans can be awarded by various entities including the government and banks.
