The Center for Student Engagement works to engage the USU Eastern community of all social identities that include, but not limited to race or ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation (LGBTQ+), socio-economic, disability, and religion. For all students, the main purpose of the Center is to offer specific, support, advocacy, events, and clubs.
Race & Ethnicity
Find resources that bring awareness to the challenges that people face based on their race or ethnicity in order to promote communities of equity and justice and to support our students, faculty and staff.
Gender & Sexual Orientation
We provide education and awareness, community engagement, and foster empowerment and support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and allied (LGBTQIA+) students, faculty, and staff.
Women & Gender
We promote and advocate for gender equity on campus and in the community. We facilitate opportunities for learning and activism to support and empower all individuals in building an inclusive and compassionate society.
Socio-Economic
Find resources that bring awareness to the impacts of socio-economic status in order to promote communities of equity and justice and to support our students, faculty and staff.
