About This Degree

The Emergency Medical Technician and First Responders Certificate of Proficiency is designed to help train students seeking to start a career as a first responder. With hands-on training and externship hours spent in the field, students will be able to gain an industry certification along with practical experience. This certification is applicable for those looking to go into Law Enforcement, Fire Fighting or Emergency Medicine, or for those looking to learn a new skill.
