About This Degree
USU's state-approved and nationally accredited Secondary Teacher Education Program (STEP) enables students to qualify for a secondary teaching license (grades 6-12).
STEP is available statewide through a combination of online and broadcast courses. The 35 credits in STEP are ideally taken in a three-semester sequence, but RCDE students may schedule courses differently to meet individual needs or course availability.
