Peer Mentors
The Advising and Student Services Office provides academic advising ad success coordinating for all USU Eastern students. It is our goal to help students reach their academic goals by providing advising, mentoring and assistance.
Our peer mentors work with students as they make the transition from high school to college. This is accomplished through providing campus resources, building positive social and academic relationships, and coordinating events led by the mentors themselves.
Contact a Peer Mentor if you have any questions:
(435) 613-5034, or stop by the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center, Room 223.

Rylie Harris
I'm from North Dakota but have deep USU roots as my parents graduated from USU. I am a freshman in the aviation program and have absolutely loved reaching new heights in my education. Being so close to great skiing, hiking, and biking locations is perfect for me as those are my favorite things to do. I am so excited to start a new semester as a peer mentor! I look forward to being able to give back to the great community of USU Eastern!
Chantel Mingo
My name is Chantel Mingo, and I love to play soccer. I've played since I was 5 years old and am on the team here at college! I am the oldest of 5 kids, 3 brothers and 1 sister. My family is so important to me, I love spending time with them. I also love to read and listen to podcasts. Being outside is my favorite thing! I love hiking, hunting and going on walks with my mom
Emily Roundy
Hi, I'm Emily! I am a sophomore, but this will be my first year at USUE. I'm planning to major in Social Work, and hope to one day be a patient advocate. I'm from Green River, and love how close USUE is to my hometown, but chose USUE for the small class sizes and big opportunities!
Serenity Singleton
Hi! My name is Serenity Singleton, I'm studying Theatre with the Cain College of Arts, working on my third year at USUE. I'm from West Valley/Taylorsville area up north. My end career goal is to become a stage manager or work in a costume shop on Broadway! I'm super excited to be a part of the peer mentor team this year and gain new knowledge and experiences!
