2nd ANNUAL FOSSIL FEST

The Prehistoric Museum at USU Eastern will be hosting Fossil Fest October 26‑29. This FREE event coincides with Earth Science Week and National Fossil Day, and will be celebrating the great paleontological and geological wonders of central and eastern Utah.

Q&A with the Prehistoric Museum’s Curator of Paleontology after the movie. Josh Lively will show off fossils from the museum that star in the film!

Field Trip to Utahraptor Country

Grand County, Utah
9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Join our Curator of Paleontology, Josh Lively, for a driving tour of the geology and paleontology of Grand County, Utah, home of Utahraptor! Meet at the Prehistoric Museum at 9 am, and we will carpool/caravan to the Moab area. We will make stops at the Mill Canyon Dinosaur Tracksite, the future Utahraptor State Park, and many other spots! Our goal will be to return to the museum between 4 and 5 pm.
Space is limited to 12 participants, so register early!
