Engage with us!
The Center for Diversity & Inclusion works to engage the USU Eastern community in various social identities to include, but not limited to race or ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation (LGBTQ+), socio-economic, disability, and religion. For every identity, the main purpose of the Center is to offer specific resources, support, advocacy, events, and clubs.
Race & Ethnicity
Find resources that bring awareness to the challenges that people face based on their race or ethnicity in order to promote communities of equity and justice and to support our students, faculty and staff.
Gender & Sexual Orientation
We provide education and awareness, community engagement, and foster empowerment and support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, and allied (LGBTQIA+) students, faculty, and staff.
Women & Gender
We promote and advocate for gender equity on campus and in the community. We facilitate opportunities for learning and activism to support and empower all individuals in building an inclusive and compassionate society.
Find resources that bring awareness to the impacts of socio-economic status and the intersectionality of socio-economic status and marginalized groups in order to promote communities of equity and justice and to support our students, faculty and staff.
Find resources that bring awareness to the challenges that people with disabilities face in order to promote communities of equity and justice and to support our students, faculty and staff.
We support student services through inclusive, student-centered programming that enhances the academic, cultural, and social experiences of students from diverse backgrounds.
Religion & Beliefs
Find resources that bring awareness to the challenges faced by people based on their religious and cultural beliefs in order to promote communities of equity and justice and to support our students, faculty and staff.
