Fire Safety

Our mission is to ensure the safety of all students, employees, and visitors of the USU Eastern campus by preventing fires through the elimination of their causes.

This mission is accomplished through interpreting and enforcing Utah State adopted fire and life safety codes, plan reviews for all proposed construction and remodel projects, annual fire safety inspections for all buildings, monthly testing of fire detections systems and alarms, quarterly testing and inspection of sprinkler systems, and fire prevention and fire extinguishing training.
