The overall mission of the Center for Workforce Development is to prepare people to be successful in their careers and as community leaders. We offer a large number of courses and programs and use educational processes that include formal and informal instruction, first-hand learning, leadership, and personal development at a secondary, post-secondary and community-based level.
The Center for Enrichment provides open-entry/open-exit learning opportunities. Courses are non-credit and can be completed at your own pace.
The Utah Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) have training, tools, and access to consultants to help business owners succeed in starting, growing, and transitioning their businesses.
The Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) program helps Utah small businesses to find, bid, and win procurement opportunities with federal, state, and local government entities.
The Mining Education Program provides non-credit training for current and potential miners.
