Biography
Roger Koyle serves as the SBDC Regional Director for Carbon, Emery, Grand, and San Juan Counties. Since joining the SBDC in 2014, he has been dedicated to helping businesses start, grow, and thrive. With more than 25 years of experience as a self-employed business owner, Roger has owned and operated several companies, at times employing more than 100 people. His firsthand experience gives him a deep understanding of both the excitement and the challenges of business ownership.
In addition to his professional work, Roger has served on the boards of multiple entrepreneurial nonprofit organizations, contributing his expertise to support innovation and community growth.
Roger is happily married to his wife, a proud Utah native. Together, they enjoy their growing family of four children and thirteen grandchildren.

In partnership with Utah State University – Eastern, the Price Small Business Development Center (SBDC) proudly serves Carbon and Emery Counties. The center provides a wide range of resources designed to support small business owners through entrepreneurial education, one-on-one consulting, advocacy, and business development services.
Located on the Utah State University – Eastern Campus in Price, the SBDC offers no-cost services to residents of Carbon and Emery Counties who are ready to start, grow, or strengthen their business ventures.
Most of the center’s clients are in the startup phase of business development. To help them succeed, the SBDC delivers personalized consulting, business registration support with the Division of Corporations, targeted training, and ongoing advocacy—empowering entrepreneurs to start and build sustainable businesses, and enhance the economic vitality of the community.
