Think of your academic advisor and success coordinator as your personal success team. Your advisor helps you develop a study plan and stay on track to graduate. Your success coordinator is your contact for any questions and can link you to student resources.

If your academic advisor isn’t in your region, you’ll work closely with a success coordinator at your location and an advisor in Logan or at another Statewide Campus to help you reach your goals. Get in touch with your academic advisor or success coordinator by visiting usu.edu/advisors.

Faculty-to-Student Mentor Program

As you think about your first year in college, we would like to invite you to consider being part of the Faculty-Student Mentorship group.

You can sign up for the program over the summer or throughout the semester, and you will be matched with a faculty member during the first 3 weeks of the fall semester. Once paired with a faculty mentor, you will meet with the faculty member once a month (or more as needed) for the entire semester. The faculty mentor can help with college resources, career exploration, and potential research opportunities. These faculty members are excited to help you navigate through your unique needs in this new and excited phase of your life. This program is being offered to you at no additional cost.

If you are interested in participating in this program, please visit statewide.usu.edu/mentor for more information and to complete the survey to indicate your interest in the program. You will be contacted during the fall semester with a potential faculty match.
