Utah State University Student Association (USUSA) Scholarships
USUSA is a great opportunity for you to get involved in campus life. USUSA’s vision is to have… “students, faculty, and staff achieve greatness by creating an atmosphere of unity. This will be accomplished by providing positive programming to the University’s Community.”
Each element of USUSA has a set of different responsibilities but comes together to put on great events, activities, sit on committees that improve student life, and advocate for the advancement of the student body while striving toward unity.
Scholarship Requirements
- Must be a full-time student
- Incoming freshmen or returning student
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA

Available USUSA Positions
Administrative Assistant
keeps detailed record of minutes for USUSA Meetings, tracks USUSA attendance at events, and keeps organized files for USUSA sustainability of records, etc.
Public Relations Representative
Publicize (flyers, social media, app operations) events going on for USUSA as well as helping with other possible events for other organizations on campus. Develop a marketing campaign to get community and students excited about events/activities. (2 positions available)
Clubs Representative
Serve as the liaison between clubs/organizations and USUSA. Assist clubs with planning events, lead club rush each semester, lead the club registration process each year, and lead initiatives for clubs to host one large event each semester.
Student Advocate
The representative for the students to USUSA. Work to get student feedback about campus life, and what they want to enhance their experience on campus. Host regular meetings, etc for students to provide feedback, etc. (open call meetings, surveys, etc.).
Diversity Representative
Assists with planning of diversity related events such as global week, Hispanic heritage awareness, Native American Heritage awareness, Black History Awareness, Women’s History awareness, LGBT awareness, the annual Diversity Conference and other diversity events as scheduled.
Athletics/Intramural Representative
Responsible for scream team (student support at games), and helping make student athletes feel included. Responsible for coordinating intramural activities (i.e flag football, basketball, volleyball).
Event Coordinator
Plans and executes activities going on throughout the school year.
Operations Manager
Assists with all technical purposes going on with USUSA (sound, lighting). (2 positions available)
Bachelor/Non-Traditional Liaison
Works to create an inclusion on campus for bachelor level students, non-traditional students, and student government. Their goal is to provide events and programming to fulfill the needs/wants of these populations. They are the voice of these populations in USUSA and administration. As we continue their education to bachelor degrees and beyond, it is vital we create an environment where these students feel welcome.
Traditions/Alumni Representative
Works with USUSA and the Alumni Association to enhance the quality of student life through traditions, networking, and providing opportunities and to plan and execute an entire year of traditional activities.
