Technical Education

Options to fit your needs, whether you are looking to enter the workforce, start a new career or upgrade your skills. Some technical education programs may be completed in one semester, others take two or more to finish, and many provide an opportunity to continue on to earn an associate or bachelor degree.

Technical Education Programs at Utah State University provide students access to high-quality, career-focused education that results in a university credential with value in the job market.

Pay for College

Scholarships specifically for Technical Education students are available. Be sure to look for them as you apply for scholarships.

In addition to scholarships, financial aid can help bridge the gap between your finances and what's needed to accomplish your academic goals.

Start in High School

Career and technical education (CTE) programs often begin in high school through concurrent enrollment, which provides high school and college credit. Concurrent Enrollment classes shorten the time needed to earn a college degree. Plus, Concurrent Enrollment courses cost a fraction of what it would cost to take them after high school.
