Associate Professor; Sigma Tau Delta Eastern Advisor (she/her/hers)
Dr. Michaelann Nelson is an Assistant Professor of English primarily housed on the Price campus. She teaches composition courses, Literary Analysis, Perspectives in Literature: Utah Literature, Eighteenth Century British Literature, and Twentieth Century British Literature. Her research focuses on environmental rhetoric in Southwest literature, especially of the Colorado River. She loves to help students achieve their goals by mentoring their critical research and creative projects, and then she takes them to present their projects at the Sigma Tau Delta conference each year. She advises the Statewide campus chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the international honor society, as well as directs the Writing Center on the Price campus.
