Larry Jensen is a Carbon County Commissioner. He spent 38 years in construction and sold his interest in Nelco Contractors in 2014. He has also spent 21 years in leadership positions for his church in the Price area. Larry was elected as Carbon County Commissioner in 2019 and is serving a second term.
Larry grew up in Price, Utah, and throughout his youth he loved being outside. During his late teenage years, Larry worked running heavy equipment.
While in high school, he fell in love with LaRae Keller, and married her after serving a mission to the Philippines for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Larry and LaRae have 9 children, two sets of twins, and have 33 grandchildren. Family is most important in their lives.
