ELA Impact Days
Eastern Leaders Academy Impact Days are fast-paced and packed with intriguing and life-changing experiences. Spend one full day each month with fellow academy members and enjoy VIP tours, networking with local leaders, and building skills and relationships that will help you to become an effective changemaker and unifier in our community.
September: Kickoff Retreat
Foundational principles are introduced as participants get to know one another in an impactful way.
October: Leadership Summit
This is a two day, in-depth exploration of impactful leadership principles.
November: Service Enterprises
Learn about service enterprises, foundations, and organizations that are a part of Carbon and Emery counties. Meet the local leaders who facilitate service experiences and get an exclusive look into how their work is positively impacting our community.
December: Education from Birth to Career
Dive into the complexities of education by hearing from educators and exploring how education impacts every part of our community.
January: Community Health and Wellness
Hear from Carbon and Emery counties health professionals and gain a greater awareness of the challenges these experts face every day in helping our community stay well.
February: Government Day at the Utah State Capitol
ELA members travel to Salt Lake City for a visit to the Utah State Capitol and experience a day at the legislative session.
March: Economic Growth and Development
Gain a better understanding of factors driving economic growth and the effect on buisnesses.
April: Parks, Recreation, and Tourism
Dive deep into the impact of local recreational assets in our community and how supporting them can foster growth and opportunity.
May: Arts, Culture, and Belonging
Participate in a day of celebrating people, art, and culture. Visit with the diverse artisans in Carbon and Emery counties and gain insight into who they are and what makes them unique.
May: Graduation
Celebrate completion of the ELA program.
